Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons #9334. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent quality issues.
Prepare Budgets and ReportsPrepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key metrics.
Address Customer ComplaintsAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
Work EnvironmentNoisy and fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to odours.
Work SettingCoffee shop, fast food outlet or concession, or restaurant environment.
TransportationOwn transportation required.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities- Physical Demands
Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent standing for extended periods.
Work EnvironmentFast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to noise and odours.
