Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A & W Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate and manage inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
Ensure Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
Prepare Budgets and ReportsPrepare budgets and cost estimates, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Address Customer ComplaintsAddress customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
Work SettingRestaurant environment, with a fast-paced and physically demanding work setting.
Supervision3-4 people, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesCombination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods, with a physically demanding work environment.
Personal SuitabilityClient focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
