About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Spring Valley Care Centre. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration)
  • Current CPR / First Aide Certification
  • Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
