Skeena Resources is a forward-thinking company committed to delivering excellence in mining operations. We are seeking an experienced Equipment Reliability Specialist to join our team at the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance program for all mobile equipment, fixed plant, and light vehicles. This includes managing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all mobile equipment, focusing on preventive maintenance and minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities for mobile equipment fleet, prioritizing tasks based on operational requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance for fixed plant, ensuring its continuous and efficient operation.
  • Assist mechanics in prioritizing and addressing equipment maintenance needs.
  • Monitor and report on equipment fleet status, including downtime, uptime, preventive maintenance, and other performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Demonstrated work experience in equipment maintenance planning and coordination.
  • Valid driver's license and experience working in a remote mining environment.
  • Expert knowledge of heavy duty equipment maintenance, scheduling, and contract management.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision.
