This is a unique opportunity to join the Farm Boy Inc. team as a Warehouse Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth receipt and storage of products.
About the RoleAs a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving and unloading deliveries from suppliers, accurately distributing products to various departments and coolers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload all deliveries from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Distribute products to appropriate departments and coolers efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Comply with corporate policies, particularly regarding Health and Safety, Food Safety, and equipment use.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Superior customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Typically 6 months of experience in a related position, preferably working with perishable goods.
- Ability to work independently with high standards for quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness.
- Effective communication style, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of receiving and cooler facilities, as well as the ability to operate a lift truck.
This role involves unavoidable exposure to environmental elements such as noise, dirt, dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures.
You will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines, requiring adaptability and resilience.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
