Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at ST Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining the vehicle's condition.

Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks, and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including preventive maintenance.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Documentation: Driver logbook, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
  • Equipment: Dump truck
  • Experience: Short-haul experience
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, sitting
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, hardworking
Work Environment

As a Dump Truck Driver at ST Trucking Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
