Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Earl of Sandwich. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for food service staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train Staff: Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
