Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietary Assistant/Dishwasher to join our team at Ontario Grove Healthcare & Wellness Centre. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of nutritious and attractive meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to Federal, State, and Company requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver meals to residents according to physician's orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Attend all required meetings and in-services, staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Report any problems or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner, promoting a culture of open communication.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation with other staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and understand English for business purposes.
  • Basic understanding of sanitation, organization, and safety principles.
  • Prior experience in food service or long-term care is preferred, but not required.
