Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Assistant/Dishwasher to join our team at Ontario Grove Healthcare & Wellness Centre. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of nutritious and attractive meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver meals to residents in accordance with physician's orders and company requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Attend all required meetings and in-services to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Report any problems or concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation with other staff members.
Requirements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English for business purposes.
  • Basic understanding of sanitation, organization, and safety principles.
  • Prior experience in food service or long-term care is preferred.
