Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator Manager to join our team at Metro Infrastructure Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate daily operations and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including selecting trade subcontractors and preparing project budgets
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as hire and supervise subcontractor activities
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitor progress, and establish quality control programs
Requirements:
  • 11-15 years of experience in construction management or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in project coordination, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Certifications in infrastructure health and safety, working at heights training, WSIB clearance, occupational health and safety, first aid, CPR, fall arrest protection, and WHMIS
Education:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
Experience and Specialization:
  • Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, Mac OS, SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD), Tablet computer
  • Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional
  • Area of specialization: Project management

  • Security and safety requirements: Bondable, basic security clearance, confidential security clearance, criminal record check, driver's validity license check, drug test, reference required
  • Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's license, willing to travel
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, large caseload
