Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Cafe Demetres. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain management
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive business growth
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity

Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 16-20 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.

Experience and Specialization:

We are looking for a candidate with experience in restaurant management, preferably with a background in hospitality or a related field. You should have a strong understanding of business operations, including finance, marketing, and human resources.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

You should have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines. You should be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment. You should also have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
