Job Title: Director, Business Development

About the Role:

The Director, Business Development will be responsible for leading a team of Marketing Consultants and driving increased revenue by recruiting and inspiring a team of sales professionals. The successful candidate will stay at the forefront of the rapidly changing marketing industry while building new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of Marketing Consultants to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  2. Regularly communicate with Marketing Consultants to motivate and assist with strategy and providing insights.
  3. Visit customers with Marketing Consultants as required to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  4. Confidence in generating new contacts, crafting personalized emails, and communicating with potential clients to drive sales.
  5. Responsible for identifying opportunities within our CRM system and utilizing a combination of web research, prospecting, and email tactics with a hunter mentality to seek new business.
  6. Experience with customer relations management and business development tactics is desired.
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required and must be demonstrated through exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong strategic relationships.
  8. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance attention to detail with big-picture perspective, manage priorities to follow through on multiple projects.
  9. Good knowledge of MS Office is required.
