CB Canada is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Data Mapping to work on a project for a client in the Banking Sector. The ideal candidate will have experience with PowerBI and data visualization, as well as strong working knowledge of Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end project regarding wire mapping and data integration mapping, international wire processing
  • Utilize Visio for architectural technical drawings and assist in data mapping
  • Conduct process and system diagram mapping
  • Understand how the banks' risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions by conducting Risk Assessments
  • Identify areas of improvement within the banks' internal processes
  • Utilize Confluence and Jira to track project progress and share information with the team at large
  • Responsible for communicating progress on weekly reporting meetings

Mandatory Skills:

  • 2-3 years' experience of previous IT Business Analyst experience
  • Experienced with Data/Process Mapping
  • Experienced in Data Analysis
  • Experience with PowerBI and data visualization
  • Prior experience with Confluence, Jira and Visio
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong communication skills are needed for this role (Written/Verbal)
  • Ability to work in a Team environment
  • Post-Secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Previous experience working with a Financial Institute an asset
