Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Craft Painter to join our team at JSD Construction Experts. As a Master Craft Painter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional painting services for interior and exterior projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying a suitable coating to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a flawless surface for painting.
  • Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, taking into account factors like sheen level and opacity.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as necessary to access hard-to-reach areas safely.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and fabric to walls, creating a seamless finish.
  • Advise clients on colours and wall coverings, ensuring they find the perfect solution for their space.
Requirements
  • Degree in Fine Arts or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in painting, preferably with a focus on interior and exterior projects
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work at heights and use power tools safely
