Technical RF Specialist for Canada

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical RF Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Canada.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will support the sales and marketing channel, demonstrating products, providing training and application support to our wide-ranging customer base in Canada. As part of an engineering organization with over 75 years' experience, you will be working with high-quality, world-renowned test and measurement equipment.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments.
- Develop and present local seminars and customer training sessions.
- Contribute technical feedback to product line development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of experience in a customer-facing role as an application engineer.
- Familiarity with test equipment including spectrum/signal analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
- A strong understanding of RF and microwave measurement applications.
- Programming experience for instrument automation using Python, Matlab, C/C++, or Labview.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as 5G, 4G, 802.11xx, Space, and Satellite communication protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer interface skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the region and occasional international travel.
