About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Magna International Inc. as an Industrial Electrician Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, design, develop, and continuously improve equipment and technology to ensure high-quality parts production.
  • Exercise independent judgment and make decisions within established regulations and policies.
  • Work collaboratively with a fantastic team to increase uptime, throughput, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Electrical Certificate of Qualification (309A or 442A).
  • Minimum two years' experience as an Industrial Electrician.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
Benefits
  • $45.42 CAD per hour + Shift Premiums.
  • Shifts rotate every 2 weeks between midnight, afternoon, and days.
  • Shift Premiums of $0.85/hour (afternoons) and $1.35/hour (midnights).
  • Vacation = 2 weeks of paid vacation (3 weeks after 3 years) + 3 Company Paid holidays + 2x 1⁄2 days = 14 days annually.
