About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience in facilities maintenance who can work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors, operating industrial vacuum cleaners, and performing other tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and/or equivalent experience. Experience in this field is an asset, but not required. We offer on-the-job training and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Work with minimal supervision
