Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional nursing care to residents, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

They will also assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitor residents' health status, and report any changes to the nursing team.

Additionally, they will educate residents and their families on health management and wellness, maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations, possess a valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration), and have previous experience in long-term care or a related field.

A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care is essential for this role.

Benefits

This casual position offers an hourly rate of $84, overtime pay, flexible scheduling, and on-site parking.

The ability to commute or relocate to Campbell River, BC V9W 4H4 is preferred.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have First Aid Certification and be able to work various shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts, Monday to Friday.
