The Senior Accountant will be a key member of our Global Statutory Team, collaborating closely with Finance Business Partners, Shared Services Center, Project Management team, and Big 4 firms to identify and implement process improvements. They will assist in complying with regional statutory regulations and provide essential support to financial reporting.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to think critically. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual financial statements, including IFRS or local GAAP disclosures
  • Work closely with other departments to review and analyze supporting schedules and improve reporting efficiency
  • Main contact for audits and replies to audit requests
  • Maintain accurate audit documentation of financial reporting processes and controls
  • Execute projects led or supported by the Statutory Finance team
  • Develop accounting position papers related to complex transactions and accounting standard changes
  • Provide cross-functional assistance to other teams to support new business initiatives
  • Assist in overseeing statutory WIP process from business to auditors

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics
  • CPA designation or equivalent
  • Technical experience in Financial Reporting, Finance, and Statutory Accounting environments
  • Ability to apply main accounting principles to new scenarios/transactions
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, including deep experience in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning solutions (e.g., SAP/Oracle/JDE) is advantageous but not required
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated Salary Range: $73,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits are not included in this estimate.
