Salary Range: $83-$105 per hour
Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity will see you working as part of a dynamic team in the Emergency Department, providing patient-centered care to adult and pediatric patients from all triage priorities. You will be responsible for administering care to critically ill patients, as well as those requiring stabilization and first aid.
You may be required to transport critical patients, including burn victims, neurological emergencies, and trauma victims, to other facilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years current Emergency nursing experience
- ECG monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
- Post-diploma Emergency courses and/or Canadian Emergency Nursing Certificate Exam
- Computer skills
- IV therapy skills
- Excellent teaching and public relations skills
- Good team player
- Self-directed
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
