Job Title: Senior Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in food service operations, with a proven track record of managing staff and maintaining high standards of quality control.
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, and prior experience in a supervisory role is essential.

In this key leadership position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our food service team, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, portioning, and presentation meet the highest standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining efficient workflows, training staff, and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of up to 10 staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
  • Hire new staff members, conducting thorough interviews and background checks to ensure a strong fit for our team.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on performance, highlighting areas of success and recommending opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and promote a positive work environment.
