About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer - Linear Infrastructure to join our team in the Greater Toronto Region.

This role will involve working on municipal water/wastewater/ stormwater management infrastructure projects, with a focus on linear and multi-discipline profiles.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work with our experienced team to deliver high-quality results, including:

  • Collaborating with project managers, senior engineers, and group leaders to deliver linear infrastructure projects;
  • Working on diverse water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including collection, distribution, and transmission systems;
  • Executing design engineering consulting services related to linear environmental infrastructure under senior staff supervision;
  • Supporting the lead designer in detailed design coordination and interface with other disciplines;
  • Preparing tender documents, contract specifications, and drawings;
  • Developing project plans and anticipating project issues to ensure timely completion;
  • Communicating effectively with project teams, clients, permitting agencies, and others to achieve project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
  • 4+ years of experience in municipal design and construction working on linear water and wastewater infrastructure projects;
  • Registration as a P.Eng or eligibility for registration within 12 months;
  • Proficient knowledge of integrated 3D environment software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the project's interest throughout the project life cycle.
