We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher, Plant to join our team at Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd.
Job Summary:The Dispatcher, Plant will be responsible for coordinating the activities of vehicle operators and crews, maintaining work records and logs, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs of work orders, shipments, and customer interactions.
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate radio equipment and dispatch management service software to coordinate activities and communicate with teams.
- Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews.
- Take customer orders and answer telephone calls and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- 1-6 months of experience in a related field, such as trucking or logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
- Ability to operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
