Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Dykeland Lodge. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff.
  • Participate in recreational activities and social events to promote residents' engagement and enjoyment.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide care in a physically demanding role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
