Autonomous Fleet Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Autonomous Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our fleet in Toronto. This role involves ensuring that our fleet is running smoothly, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Maintenance: Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained, including minor repairs, tire changes, and communication with bodyshops as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage Fleet Coordinators at multiple parking hubs, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to company policies, and consistent quality across all locations.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations, including environmental and safety standards, as well as industry best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to negotiate favorable contracts and agreements, ensuring high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
  • Vehicle Acquisition: Oversee vehicle acquisition, ensuring appropriate selection and procurement of vehicles to meet the needs of the fleet while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Vehicle Remarketing: Manage vehicle remarketing and disposal processes, maximizing the resale value of used vehicles and minimizing losses.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for Fleet Coordinators and fleet associates, promoting a culture of continuous learning, safety, and customer focus.

Requirements

  • Experience with dealing with vehicles on a day-to-day basis from maintenance, driving, and keeping on the road.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. The salary is competitive and offers opportunities for growth and professional development in a fast-paced startup environment.
