Job Summary:

Puratos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Production team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and efficient management of the Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure engagement and productivity within the team and the facility.
  • Assist the Plant Manager in identifying and improving operational effectiveness and efficiency within all areas of the warehouse facility.
  • Participate in department projects, operational committees, and other organizational initiatives.
  • Provide backup support in the absence of the Production Supervisor.

Accountabilities:

  • Warehouse Operations & Inventory:
    • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels.
    • Ensure efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Quality & Customer Focus:
    • Ensure high-quality products and services are delivered to customers.
  • Leadership & Human Resources:
    • Lead and develop warehouse staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Safety & Environment:
    • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
    • Certification in Supply Chain Management is an asset.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent safety record and promotes a strong safety culture.
    • Reliable and good attendance is essential.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with managers, supervisors, and production floor employees.
    • Detail-oriented and competent in utilizing computer hardware and software.
