Job Title: Health and Wellness Manager

At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health and Wellness Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to coordinate the highest standard of care services provided by our care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents, their families, and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments of residents moving into our home and provide ongoing support throughout their transition and any changes in their health care needs.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle for our residents by embracing each individual's unique needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and external community healthcare agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with Resident Assessments/Service Plans (PCC), Seasons' specific policies and procedures, and RHRA regulations.
  • Manage administrative duties, including recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training, scheduling, payroll, care department budgets, and overall management of all care staff.
  • Follow risk management policies and procedures through regular care-related audits, Retirement Home Regulatory Authority inspections, and Public Health inspections.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Practical Nurse license and current registration with the College of Nurses.
  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Medication Administration training.
  • Ability to provide compassion, empathy, and understanding of our residents' needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Class G driver's license with a clear driver's abstract.
