Job Title: Health and Wellness Manager

At Seasons Retirement Communities, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health and Wellness Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Health and Wellness Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the highest standard of care services provided by our care team, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our residents, their families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments of residents moving into our home and provide ongoing support throughout their stay
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle for our residents by embracing each individual's unique needs and preferences
  • Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and external community healthcare agencies
  • Ensure compliance with Resident Assessments/Service Plans, Seasons' policies and procedures, and RHRA regulations
  • Manage administrative tasks, including recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training, scheduling, payroll, and care department budgets
  • Empower staff and provide guidance and support throughout their career at Seasons
  • Follow risk management policies and procedures through regular audits and inspections
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Practical Nurse license and registration with the College of Nurses
  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Medication Administration training
  • Provide compassion, empathy, and understanding of our residents' needs
  • Communicate effectively following written and verbal instructions
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize workload throughout scheduled shifts
  • Knowledge of medical equipment is considered an asset
  • Class G driver's license with clear driver's abstract
