About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health and Wellness Manager to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care services are provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments of residents moving into our home and provide ongoing support throughout their stay
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle for our residents by providing person-centered care and ensuring their individual needs are met
  • Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and external healthcare agencies to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Resident Assessments/Service Plans and RHRA regulations
  • Manage the care department, including recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling of care staff
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure risk management policies and procedures are being followed

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Practical Nurse license and registration with the College of Nurses
  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Medication Administration training
  • Ability to provide compassion, empathy, and understanding to our residents
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and ability to learn new skills
  • Class G driver's license with clear driver's abstract
