Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Support Specialist to join our team at WestRock. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including Hogger/Shredder/Unitizer, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform daily quality control checks on finished products and provide feedback to machine operators to improve quality.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Safe Work Practice certification and Lockout/Tagout certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic math skills to count production quantities and measure raw materials and finished products.
  • Ability to lift and carry raw materials and production supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a controlled environment with exposure to dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, and vibration.
