Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Secretary to join our team at Peel Financial Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team, planning and organizing daily operations, and providing administrative support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our staff, including answering telephone calls, responding to electronic enquiries, and compiling data and statistics.
  • Office Management: Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling appointments, managing office supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Training and Development: Train other workers on office procedures and routines, and provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 34 hours per week
