Job Title: Executive Director

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Barrie Bayside Mission Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our programs and services, ensuring that we deliver high-quality support to our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve our mission and goals
  • Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to deliver programs and services
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and government agencies
  • Manage budgets and finances to ensure the sustainability of our programs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
Organizational Responsibilities:
  • Represent The Salvation Army in a professional and engaging manner
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Ensure a spiritual dynamic to all programming
  • Responsible to maintain a level of competency and understand Sections 25 and 26 of the OHSA
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate University degree (e.g. MSW, B.A., B.Sc.)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of prior related experience working with marginalized clientele in a social services setting
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver's license, own vehicle and insurance
