Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and read construction drawings to identify site-specific requirements.
- Utilize survey instruments to establish accurate line and grade, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Identify and report any conflicts or discrepancies to the site supervisor in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to resolve complex problems and ensure project progress.
- Direct operators of equipment to adjust grade by moving earth, gravel, and other materials, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Measure distances from reference points or offsets to accurately install utilities, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Grade Person is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable mode of transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold, rain, heat, etc.
