Your Opportunity
Are you a person with a disability looking for a meaningful work experience? At the National Research Council Canada, we offer a supportive and collaborative environment where you can gain practical experience in a variety of fields, including research and development, engineering, and technology.
Program Details
Internships last for approximately 4 to 6 months with the possibility of extension. You will work with our team to contribute to projects of value to Canada and gain valuable skills and knowledge.
Eligibility
- You are a person with a disability
- You have obtained a High School diploma (or grade 12 equivalent)
While positions vary, extensive experience is not required. We welcome all qualified applicants and encourage you to complete the employment equity self-declaration questions during the job application process.
What We Offer
Individuals hired under the Persons with Disabilities Internship will be compensated at the appropriate salary for the specific position's classification group and level. In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements of the specific position will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
