Position Overview

Humber River Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic Medical Imaging team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to capture high-quality images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and assess patients for MRI exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Complete exams by reviewing images, confirming documentation, and presenting findings to radiologists for reporting.
  • Maintain knowledge of MRI safety practices and adhere to regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) as an MRI Technologist.
  • MRT plus MRI certification required.
  • Previous recent clinical MRI experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
