Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Comfort Inn Charlottetown. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process room changes and cancellations.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, and handle room reservations and modifications.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as local attractions and points of interest.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of room assignments, reservations, and guest information.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a customer service or front desk role is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
