Job Title: Telecommunications Network Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Network Specialist to join our team at Neeth's Telecom Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and network administration, with experience in supervising technical staff and maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise technical staff and ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations and implement network traffic and security monitoring software.
  • Optimize server performance and perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
  • Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts and respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers.
  • Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines.
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications and network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding work.
  • Sound discrimination and sitting for extended periods.
