Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Communications Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Smart Telecom and Automation solutions.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a telecommunications professional to work with our clients, providing technical expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing complex communications equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware to ensure seamless communication services.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment, diagnose faults, and adjust, replace, or repair as necessary to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Cable Management: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets, ensuring efficient cable management and minimizing signal loss.
  • Network Testing and Optimization: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults, analyze results, and adjust or repair switching systems and equipment to guarantee optimal network performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high-quality communication services.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in telecommunications infrastructure installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications protocols, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues.
  • Physical fitness for climbing and working at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
