Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time pharmacist to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, and timely.
  • Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures.
  • Consult with the pharmacy management team on unresolved issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer care to CareRx Pharmacy patients.
  • Communicate with the resident care team while maintaining professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and organized resident health records.
  • Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations.
  • Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory.
  • Participate in training and support for new and existing pharmacy team members.
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education and stay current with pharmaceutical, medical, and professional licensing information.

Requirements

  • Insured and licensed in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
  • Advanced Method Certification for administering injections.
  • Previous retail pharmacy experience.
  • Proven ability to foster strong partnerships with healthcare team members.
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Kroll Windows application preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally.
