Your Role

As a Civil Technologist, you will work in collaboration with the Municipal Infrastructure Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform general project duties under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Technologist.
  • Develop, prepare and review civil engineering design drawings and coordinate with the engineering Design Team.
  • Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.

Your Profile

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Member or eligibility for membership in ASET.
  • 3-5 years of municipal civil engineering experience, including but not limited to the design of: Water Distribution Systems, Wastewater Collection Systems, Stormwater Management Systems, Site Grading.
  • Show an aptitude of general construction methods.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Civil3D software.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
