Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

The University of Lethbridge is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Architect to join our Information Technology Services department. As a key member of our network team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the underlying infrastructure of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation: Develop and implement network infrastructure designs that meet the University's needs and industry best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the network team, ensuring that all infrastructure architecture is implemented correctly and efficiently.
- Network Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of our network infrastructure, including data centre design and operation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including Systems and Security, to ensure that all infrastructure architecture is aligned with the University's overall IT strategy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computing Science or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in network administration, system administration, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of network infrastructure design and implementation, as well as experience with Cisco products.
- Personal Qualities: Highly organized, excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Competitive Salary: A salary range of $73,000 to $110,835 per year.
