Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Novacom Building Partners. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of various construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, including tracking expenses, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Contract Administration: Review and administer construction contracts, including ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that construction work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary education in a construction-related field, such as engineering, architecture, or a related technical program.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices; excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
