Job Summary

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers, handling customer complaints and inquiries, and working to resolve problem shipments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to problem-solve, and have a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Serve our customers in the most efficient and courteous manner on the telephone and in person.
    • Upsell and cross-sell corporate products and services.
    • Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Problem Solving
    • Work to resolve problem shipments.
    • Work to resolve equipment and technology challenges.
  • Communication
    • Communicate in a positive manner with head office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers, and other corporate partners.
    • Listen to customers and key partners.
  • Personal Responsibility and Accountability
    • Take personal responsibility and accountability for actions and situations.
    • Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
    • Adhere to all safety standards.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Orientation
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Experience
    • 3-12 months customer service experience preferred.
    • 3-12 months retail experience preferred.
    • 3-12 months using technology/POS system experience preferred.
  • Skills
    • Ability to lift 70lbs/stand for 3 hour intervals.
    • Professional communication skills: oral communication (telephone and in person), written communication, and listening skills.

Working Conditions

The Retail Sales Associate will work in a retail center environment, office environment, outdoors, and warehouse environment.
