This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in our Vancouver office, located at 210 W Broadway, with the first 3 months spent fully on-site. Our standard business hours are from 9 am to 5 pm.

About the Role

This challenging yet rewarding position involves:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the team to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Create strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the team and across the organization.
  • Maintain awareness of current events and trends in programmatic advertising to set direction for the team.
  • Process Creation and Optimization:
  • Design and optimize team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement new project management tools and streamline workflows to increase productivity.
  • Team Development:
  • Develop comprehensive development plans for each team member and facilitate their growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Lead the Campaigns and Data & Reporting teams.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Ensure efficient marketing campaign development and execution.
  • Analyze gathered campaign data to develop and refine strategies for key clients (1-2 clients).
  • Guarantee timely completion of campaigns within budget.
  • Optimization and Growth:
  • Oversee optimization strategies on top accounts, identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
  • Effectively scale up revenue for ROAS-focused clients.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Create comprehensive optimization reports and provide insights and recommendations to surpass set goals.
  • Monitor daily key performance indicators to interpret data and gauge initiative success.
  • Conduct deep analytical dives into data and suggest A/B tests.
  • Audit budget pacing and offer reallocation recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in a paid media management role, either in an agency or an in-house marketing position.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience, including experience leading leaders is required.
  • Experience with digital media planning & buying.
  • Certification on DV360, CM360, SA360, Google Analytics, Google Ads & Meta.
  • Setup experience on Search Ads (Google, Microsoft Bing, Yahoo) & DV360.
  • Setup experience on Meta Business Manager, CM360, and familiarity with other demand-side platforms.
  • Familiarity with media & research tools like ComScore, Emarketer, etc.
  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager to understand tags and identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, dashboards, macros, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of the ad tech landscape.
  • Capacity to work under pressure on various business verticals.
  • Excellent English communication skills (in-person, phone & email).
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
