In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the development of novel synthetic methods, optimizing reaction parameters, and collaborating with process engineers to support scale-up activities.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in organometallic/main-group chemistry and contribute to the success of our organization. You will work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve long-term project objectives.
- Synthesize complex organic ligands and main group/organometallic products using advanced techniques.
- Develop and optimize key reaction parameters to support process development.
- Collaborate with process engineers and scientists to address reaction kinetics, chemical equilibriums, materials compatibility, thermodynamics, and mixing.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in organometallic/main-group chemistry, with experience in classic and modern bench-scale synthetic chemistry techniques. You should also be comfortable handling air-sensitive materials and interpreting complex analytical results.
