About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team at Ally And Son. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing various financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other accounting records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain benefits records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of company assets.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
