About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at G&B Fabrication inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Operate flame-cutting equipment and oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air)
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve fabrication goals
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in welding and fabrication
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
