Job Summary

G&B Fabrication inc is seeking a skilled Welder-Fitter to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Welding Process Specifications: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication.
  • Operate Welding Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine Welds: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate Flame-Cutting Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal parts and products.
  • Operate Oxygen Arc Cutting Equipment: Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC) to cut metal parts and products.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
