Food Service Manager

Job Summary
ULTRAMAR GAS STATION & COFFEE TIME is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for providing exceptional customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demands
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Manage staff performance, addressing customer complaints, and maintaining accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries and budget forecasts
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu offerings meet quality control standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Work closely with the management team to achieve business objectives, including sales growth and customer retention
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a focus on maintaining a clean and healthy work environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service and food safety
