Restaurant Manager with Culinary Expertise

The Curry Culture is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
About the Role- We are looking for a manager who can lead by example, inspire and motivate our team to deliver outstanding results.
- You will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Your expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and inventory management will be invaluable in maintaining high standards and ensuring efficiency in our kitchen operations.
- Determine the size of food portions and costs, and implement strategies to optimize menu pricing and profitability.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, showcasing your culinary expertise and creativity.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting consistency and quality across all dishes.
- Order supplies and equipment, collaborating with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards and promoting a clean and organized workspace.
- Recruit and hire staff, partnering with HR to identify top talent and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage kitchen operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and planning, to drive business growth and profitability.
- 3+ years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in kitchen operations, staff management, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
- Possess a strong understanding of food safety, health, and hygiene practices.
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
